Salvia 'Amistad'

This new introduction has been suggested to be the best new Salvia hybrid for some years. Quite rightly, as, although it resembles other hybrids, eg. 'Black Knight', 'Purple Majesty', it is far more compact, and flowers for 12 months. Currently under trial for Plant Breeders Rights, it should be available for sale world-wide in 2012. For those who are interested, it is beloved by hummingbirds. Without doubt, this is an amazingly beautiful Salvia, one of the best of all time.
